@laurakim123 in my experience there are always some updates within a short time span after a major release ... 2.9 will be some months away

@laurakim123 #wordpress upgrades frequently yes ... if you had to wait for all the bugs/issues to be fixed it'd take forever to release :P

@adelezev won't make it go away - apparently ubuntu9.04 has DNS broken by default - some port issue - spent days trying to set up dev server
