Over the weekend, we went tree planting in Furrow Road, close to Equestria in Pretoria East. It was the first “operation” by the newly formed Pretoria East Tree Huggers group. It was only a small start to get the ball rolling, but hopefully future tree planting sessions will be better

rain spider
A photo of a Rain Spider that we caught in our house a while ago. It was probably the biggest spider I have ever seen, staying next to a nature reserve it is not uncommon to find some pretty big Baboon or Wolf Spiders around. This thing dwarfed them all.
